Could you introduce yourself by sharing your name, prior experience, and current role within your company?

Abolfazl Arab: I'm Abolfazl Arab, CEO and co-founder of 3Engine. My tech journey, initiated at age 11, has been a blend of technological innovation and entrepreneurial spirit. Prior to founding 3Engine, I significantly deepened my expertise in a role that focused on gaming infrastructure, a crucial chapter that enhanced my entrepreneurial journey. As a Full Stack Engineer in this gaming-centric domain, I faced complex technological challenges that sharpened my skills and fueled my passion for innovation. My diverse experiences, balancing independent entrepreneurial projects with strategic roles in gaming technology, have given me a broad understanding of the tech landscape, particularly in gaming. This entrepreneurial drive and technical acumen now converge at 3Engine, where I'm spearheading the advancement of Web3 technology, infusing innovative thinking and technical proficiency.

Mehrab Shayesteh: I am Mehrab Shayesteh, the CTO and co-founder of 3Engine. Over the past seven years, my career has been marked not only by a dedication to developing innovative web applications but also by a strong entrepreneurial ethos. My previous role, especially centered around gaming infrastructure, was more than a job; it was a critical part of my entrepreneurial path. Leading projects in performance optimization and blockchain integrations honed my technical skills and deepened my understanding of the market’s needs. My passion for gaming and entrepreneurship inspired me to co-found 3Engine, where I lead the development of our pioneering no-code Game Engine. My journey intertwines extensive web2 and web3 expertise with a persistent drive for entrepreneurial innovation, guiding the strategic direction of our engineering initiatives.

How has your company grown and changed since its inception, and what do you have planned for its future?

3Engine has undergone remarkable growth in just nine months. We've developed a user-friendly editor that empowers users to create Web3 games effortlessly, without requiring coding or blockchain expertise. Our platform includes a comprehensive console for game management and analytics, and a unique game marketplace, offering a global showcase for games crafted with our Engine. Currently, in its early access phase, our platform has garnered a strong user community, actively contributing to its ongoing refinement. Collaborative projects with game creators are in progress, set to debut with the beta launch of our game store.

Looking ahead, we plan to integrate SDKs for diverse engines, thereby enhancing the versatility of our platform. We are continually advancing our game engine with sophisticated features such as multiplayer systems and storage solutions, aiming to redefine the boundaries of game creation and make it more accessible.

What inspired you to develop 3Engine, and how did you conceive of the idea?

3Engine started from a love of gaming and a goal to help creative people who don't know much about coding. Being part of the web3 gaming community, both with players and those who build games, has been key. It helped us really see what they struggle with. By paying close attention, we've spotted the main problems they face. Our goal now is to make solutions that solve these problems, making the web3 gaming world better for everyone, both players and creators. We want to make a place where all kinds of creative people can easily turn their ideas into reality in the ever-changing web3 space

Can you provide insight into 3Engine’s progress by sharing any metrics or milestones indicating its traction?

Since launching our early access just two weeks ago, the response has been overwhelming, with over 200 individuals eager to explore our platform. We're selectively inviting innovative game creators to provide constructive feedback. Additionally, we're on the brink of launching several games in collaboration with these creators on our Game Marketplace.

Can you provide insight into the target market for 3Engine and what types of clients you work with?

3Engine caters to a diverse audience, ranging from individual enthusiasts to corporate entities in the game development realm. Our platform is meticulously designed to aid them in rapidly transforming their concepts into reality, with a focus on game design and conceptualization, thereby making a pronounced impact in the web3 gaming industry. Notably, the web3 space currently boasts over 2,607 active games, with more than a million active players daily. Our objective is to simplify the game creation process, enhancing competition in the industry to elevate the quality of web3 games. By making development more accessible, we aim to inspire a surge in innovative and high-quality games, further enriching the web3 gaming landscape.
