Build more with QuickNode - FAQs

Does the pricing change apply to existing customers or only new customers?

The pricing change applies only to newly created accounts.

Why did QuickNode change pricing?

To unlock the most value across our platform for our customers, we have adjusted our plan structure to deliver more features (including key add-ons such as allowing API add-ons with Build and higher tiers), offer increased included responses, and provide industry-leading support to aid in growing your business.

How does billing work for API Credits?

Usage in our new pricing plans is measured in API Credits. Some methods have an API Credit value greater than 1: eth_getlogs has a value of 6, for example. API Credit values are based on the intensity that the method has on the platform and varies based on a number of complex factors (like compute, memory, disk, and network resources).

Please see our documentation for a full list of methods and their multiplier.

I am a current customer. How can I take advantage of the new pricing?.

Due to technical limitations, we are currently able to offer the new pricing only on new accounts. To take advantage of the new pricing, current customers will need to create a new QuickNode account under a different email.

I am a Discover plan customer. How can I increase the speed of my endpoint?

Discover plans have access to a single region—our US Eastern region. Higher tier plans have access to QuickNode’s full global network. Region restrictions ensure that customers don’t pay extra for regions they don’t need. QuickNode’s global presence enables us to achieve lower latency regardless of where our customers are based. If you’re interested in going global, we recommend starting with the “Scale” plan.

I want to add more endpoints to my plan. How can I do so?

You can add an endpoint by signing in to the admin tool on quicknode.com. If you are at your limit for your current plan, you can archive any previously canceled endpoints to open up slots for new endpoints. If you have no more endpoints to archive, then we recommend upgrading to the next tier plan.

How can I increase the rate limit on my plan?

The rate limit associated with your endpoint is a reflection of the account plan. Rate limits are a measure of the number of requests per second your application can send. Higher tier plans will have fewer limits. See our plan tiers here.

I am on the Discover plan, how do I access support?

The Discover plan offers community support via Discord. You can join our Discord community here.
