Could you introduce yourself by sharing your name, prior experience, and current role within your company?

Hey there, I'm Aleksandras Gaška, but just call me Alex. I've worn a few different hats in the world of blockchain before landing in my current role. From Operations Advisor at Mintlayer to Business Developer at carVertical. I've seen the blockchain sphere from a lot of angles.

BlockWallet's mission is to make privacy in the blockchain world a no-brainer. We offer a super private, non-custodial browser extension wallet where you can manage your crypto and interact with blockchain apps. We achieve this with features like Privacy Proxy, Phishing Protection, Flashbot Protect RPC, Token Allowance Revoke, Built-In Gas Tracker, and more. We are like a Swiss army knife of self-custodial wallets.

How has your company grown and changed since its inception, and what do you have planned for its future?

From the moment we launched BlockWallet just over a year ago, we've poured our hearts into building a vibrant community. Today, our dedication is reflected in our growing base of over 10,000 daily users who trust and rely on our services.

Observing the current trends in the web3 world, it's clear that privacy and security are emerging as vital aspects on the road to success in this relatively young market. We're seeing people make mistakes, with the recent Atomic Wallet hack serving as a stark reminder of the importance of carefully choosing where to store digital assets.

Moreover, regulatory trends are crucial to keep an eye on. Like most of us in the crypto sphere, I've been closely watching SEC lawsuits against major centralized exchanges and other regulatory bodies. The decisions made there could have a significant impact on the web3 environment.

Lastly, the buzz around AI is hard to ignore. Even though we might be getting a bit tired of hearing about it, its potential implications in the crypto space are genuinely intriguing and worth watching.

What inspired you to develop BlockWallet, and how did you conceive of the idea?

The creation of BlockWallet was really a solution to my own problem. I was hunting for a wallet that really cared about privacy and security, something non-negotiable for me, but found only a handful that did. On top of that, I wanted some user-friendly features - easy swap and bridge functionality, an allowance revoke option, and a built-in gas tracker. But the wallets out there just weren't cutting it.

That's when it clicked - if I was searching for these features, others were probably doing the same. So, out of this need and a fair bit of frustration, BlockWallet was born. It was a tool I'd use that met my needs but appealed to others who prioritized privacy, security, and smooth functionality. The feedback we've gotten has been nothing short of amazing - it's clear we've tapped into something people really wanted.

What excites you most about the partnership with QuickNode?

I'm excited about our partnership for a bunch of reasons. QuickNode isn't just another RPC provider - they're one of our most significant allies. They go the extra mile by not only supporting our default networks but also any others we aim to access. This kind of commitment and support is what we truly appreciate in our partnerships.

But the real game-changer is their outstanding support and reliability. They've proven to be consistent and dependable, which is invaluable in this fast-paced and dynamic industry. Plus, their competitive pricing makes them an excellent ally for our business model.

Ultimately, QuickNode is not just a service provider to us; they're a strategic partner. Their commitment to excellence matches our own, and I'm genuinely excited to see how our collaboration will contribute to shaping the future of BlockWallet.
